The '3PLAY Operation' exam designed for the base level knowledge of NewTek's 3PLAY instant reply system. The questions were developed by the NewTekU team to make sure you possess this knowledge.
A result with a grade of 80% or higher will pass this exam.
The test will be 50 questions from a randomly chosen pool of questions. You have 3 attempts to pass. There is a 3 hour time limit to complete this exam. The exam does have to be completed in one session, if you leave the exam it will be closed and you will need to restart a new exam.
When you enroll, you will have 180 days to complete this exam.

3Play Operation Class

This course covers NewTek's 3Play instant replay/slow motion system. The lessons cover basic of replay operation and the feature set of the product. Learn about the tagging system, dual channel replay, creating highlight reels and using the included NDI Telestrator Pro software.

Live Story Creator In-Depth

Live Story Creator is a powerful tool for producing scripted shows on a TriCaster. Learn how to setup a teleprompter that talent can control from different devices. Trigger actions as the script plays to display titles, switch inputs, playback clips and more, with simple commands entered directly into Microsoft Word.

Some TriCaster models require Premium Access to have access to the Live Story Creator toolset.

NewTek CaptureCast Exam

The 'NewTek CaptureCast' exam designed for the base level knowledge of NewTek's CaptureCast system. The questions were developed by the NewTekU team to make sure you possess this knowledge.

A result with a grade of 80% or higher will pass this exam.

The test will be 50 questions from a randomly chosen pool of questions. You have 3 attempts to pass. There is a 3 hour time limit to complete this exam. The exam does have to be completed in one session, if you leave the exam it will be closed and you will need to restart a new exam.

When you enroll, you will have 180 days to complete this exam.

NewTek CaptureCast

Video is consumed as an ever-increasing rate. People's expectations are that any class, meeting, training or event is going to be captured for live and on-demand viewing. NewTek's CaptureCast solution allows you to construct multi-input NDI workflows for live streaming and recording, which are automatically connected to online distribution services. Everything is automated, not requiring people to manage the equipment for daily operation.

This course will give you an understanding of the NewTek CaptureCast system. Class topics include system setup, administration, operation and an introduction to NDI.

Live Production with TriCaster 考试

The 'Live Production with TriCaster' exam designed for the base level knowledge to be a NewTek dealer. The questions were developed by the NewTekU team to make sure you possess this knowledge. A result with a grade of 80% or higher will pass this exam. The test will be 50 questions from a randomly chosen pool of questions. You have 3 attempts to pass. There is not an enforced time limit, but the exam should be completed in a reasonable amount of time.

Live Production with TriCaster Class

TriCaster live production systems are NewTek's main product offerings. This course will give you a complete understanding of how to operate this system. Over multiple days in class, you will start with the basics of operation and end with a full understanding of the toolsets and features. Advanced topics for the TriCaster include: the macro system, audio routing, and virtual sets. Special emphasis will be given to Premium Access, allowing you to operate the most powerful features available in the system.

NDI and Performance Media Networking 考试

The 'NDI and Performance Media Networking' exam was designed for the base level knowledge of Ethernet networking and the NDI protocol. The questions were developed by the NewTekU team to make sure you possess this knowledge. A result with a grade of 80% or higher will pass this exam. The test will be 50 questions from a randomly chosen pool of questions. You have 3 attempts to pass. There is not an enforced time limit, but the exam should be completed in a reasonable amount of time. Passing the exam for this course is one of the requirements to become a NewTek Certified NewTek Expert (NCNE).

NDI and Performance Media Networking Class

Video over IP networking is quickly becoming a core competency required for live production workflows. However, the majority of networking courses aren't designed for the high-performance requirements that come with building video networks. This NewTekU course is designed to address these aspects. The class will get into network hardware and the type of features needed to build a LAN that can deliver on the required performance.

Building a video over IP network often requires interfacing with existing equipment, be it SDI, HDMI or IP audio formats like SRT and Dante. This course covers the products NewTek develops to connect into existing workflows that many clients have in place. Class topics include operation of the entire Connect and Spark product lines. Learn how to exchange alpha channel signals between baseband and NDI, how to convert SRT sources into NDI feeds and convert NDI codecs between products. Passing the exam for this course is one of the requirements to become a NewTek Certified Network Expert (NCNE).
