NDI® Central 播客 - 2019 年第 7 期：Kiloview
Changsha Kiloview Electronics Co, Ltd, or Kiloview for short, was among the developers showing in the NDI® Central Pavilion for NAB 2019. The company is a professional video transmission and management total solution provider, with products across the range of encoding, decoding, conversion, IP-based video switching and streaming. A range of company products are compatible with NDI, NewTek’s royalty free bidirectional IP technology for transport of video, audio and data over standard networks at very high quality and very low latency.
Kiloview has developed a line of NDI-capable encoders that support NDI|HX for wired and wireless network transmission of SDI or HDMI input video at 1080p. The company is at work on a line of 4Kp60 encoders and a multi-channel media gateway, all with NDI support. In addition to the products they market themselves, Kiloview has the capability to design and make solutions for other companies wishing to implement NDI for their products, including encoders, decoders, converters, cameras and more.
Podcast guest Judy Zuo, vice general manager for Kiloview, offered this observation about the company’s move to NDI:
The idea of NDI gave us a lot of sparks, when we are designing new products. Even if not NDI compatible, we will think about how to make it easy and eliminate messy cables, and this kind of ideas…our company is well trusted by the clients since we can provide NDI solutions, and our products are easily known by the clients in the market, since NDI is widely accepted, and quite popular with customers.
Two new products were demonstrated at NAB 2019:
- N1: a portable, wireless SDI-to-NDI video encoder
- N2: a portable wireless HDMI-to-NDI video encoder
