Auburn University Student Government Association Approves TriCaster 460 Purchase

On Monday, April 27, the Auburn University Student Government Association (SGA) unanimously approved funds toward the purchase of NewTek TriCaster 460 for Auburn’s Eagle Eye TV newsroom.   The integrated multi-camera live production and streaming system replaces an older model TriCaster and will be used for all production by Eagle Eye TV, including live shows and those produced for on-demand or later telecast or streaming.  SGA members, many of whom have worked for Eagle Eye TV, noted that TriCaster 460 is central to training students for internships and jobs in the television industry, by giving them production experience on the same equipment in use in modern broadcast and streaming production facilities.
